This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit this website or use the contact details provided here.
2. Website delivery and hosting
When you request a page, your browser sends technical information to the web server. This includes your IP address, the time and target of your request, and information supplied by your browser about your browser, operating system and, where transmitted, the previous page (referrer). The server also processes request results, such as status codes and data volumes. This processing enables the delivery of the requested content and the secure, reliable operation of the website.
The technical hosting provider and recipient of the data required for hosting is FUTRIS, Fabian Eschrich, Stollberger Straße 46, 09119 Chemnitz, Germany. Provider details are available at futris.net. Hosting providers may access this data as necessary to provide their technical services.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interests are delivering the website, maintaining its functionality and identifying and preventing technical faults and abusive access.
Data needed to deliver a page is processed to handle the respective request. Where technical access and errors are recorded in server logs, retention must be limited to the period necessary for operational security and fault analysis. In the event of a specific security incident, relevant records may be needed until the incident has been investigated and, where applicable, to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
3. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact me, I process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number and message, as necessary to handle and respond to your enquiry. Emails also involve processing technical communication data transmitted with the message. Technical communication providers, in particular FUTRIS as the email hosting provider, may receive the data required to provide their services.
If your enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract with you, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is handling and answering your enquiry appropriately.
Enquiry data is deleted once the matter has been resolved and further retention is no longer necessary. Relevant criteria include outstanding questions, contractual obligations, statutory retention requirements and, where applicable, the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Documents subject to statutory retention requirements are kept for the required period on the basis of Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
You decide what information to provide. Without the information needed to respond to or handle your enquiry, I may be unable to do so.
4. Cookies, fonts and external content
The website itself does not set cookies or store information in LocalStorage or SessionStorage. It does not embed analytics or advertising trackers, external font services, maps, video players or social media plugins. Fonts are supplied by your device's system fonts; images, stylesheets and scripts are loaded with the website.
A locally executed script makes the email address and telephone number readable. It does not set cookies, access browser storage or transmit data to an additional service. Contact details remain available without JavaScript.
Selecting an email or telephone link opens the relevant application configured on your device. There is no contact form or direct transmission of your message through this website. External websites are accessed only when you follow the respective link; their providers are responsible for processing on those sites.
5. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have the following rights:
- Access to your personal data (Article 15 GDPR),
- Rectification of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data (Article 16 GDPR),
- Erasure of your data (Article 17 GDPR),
- Restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR),
- Data portability where processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means (Article 20 GDPR).
Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. The website described in this notice does not request tracking consent because no tracking is embedded.
Objection to processing based on legitimate interests
You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (Article 21 GDPR). Processing will then cease unless compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights and freedoms can be demonstrated, or processing is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You can use the contact details above to exercise your rights.
Complaint to a supervisory authority
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the country of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement (Article 77 GDPR). The authority for the controller's location in North Rhine-Westphalia is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen. Contact information: www.ldi.nrw.de.
6. Security
Use an HTTPS connection to access the website. You can identify it by the “https://” prefix and your browser's connection information.
